This is an entrepreneurial sales role for someone who bets on themselves. No base salary—just 15-20% commission on closed deals and equity tied to performance milestones. You'll own the full sales cycle in aerospace, manufacturing, and industrial engineering markets. We're looking for closers who can build their own pipeline, demo technical products to engineering buyers, and thrive in a startup where your results directly determine your compensation and equity stake.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → discovery → demo → negotiation → close
- Build and manage pipeline in aerospace, manufacturing, and industrial engineering sectors
- Conduct technical product demonstrations tailored to engineering workflows and pain points
- Develop relationships with engineering leaders, technical decision-makers, and procurement
- Create proposals, negotiate contracts, and close enterprise deals
- Gather customer feedback and competitive intelligence to inform product roadmap
- Represent Spatium Lab at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
- Collaborate with marketing on content, case studies, and lead generation campaigns
Requirements
- Proven track record closing B2B software or SaaS deals—show us your numbers
- Comfortable with consultative, technical sales to engineering buyers who ask hard questions
- Strong presentation skills and ability to demo complex products without a sales engineer
- Self-motivated with exceptional time management—no one will manage your calendar
- CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) for pipeline management
- Entrepreneurial mindset—you're building a book of business, not collecting a paycheck
- Ability to articulate technical product value to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in startup or early-stage environments where you wore multiple hats
- Engineering background or technical degree accelerates your ramp
- Existing network in aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial sectors is valuable
