Full Stack Engineer Intern
Bellevue, WA (Hybrid)
React, Next.js, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, AWS
We're looking for high-agency engineers who ship production code. You'll build and own full-stack features end-to-end—from React frontends to Python APIs to cloud infrastructure. This role is for builders who thrive with autonomy, figure things out without hand-holding, and care deeply about craft. You don't need years of experience; you need a track record of learning fast and delivering real software.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack features end-to-end using Next.js 15+, React 19, and TypeScript
- Design and implement RESTful APIs with FastAPI and Python
- Work with PostgreSQL, Redis caching, and background task systems (Celery)
- Implement authentication, authorization, and multi-tenancy patterns for B2B SaaS
- Deploy and monitor services on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS)
- Write comprehensive tests and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into polished, accessible UIs
- Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate development
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to ship production code—personal projects, hackathons, or coursework that went beyond the assignment
- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript AND Python
- Experience with React/Next.js fundamentals and component-based architecture
- Familiarity with SQL databases, API design, and RESTful patterns
- Self-directed learner who figures things out without constant guidance
- Proficient with AI coding agents and tools—you use them daily to move faster
- Strong communication skills and intuition for user experience
- GitHub portfolio demonstrating code quality, testing, and documentation
- May not have all skills listed—must show pattern of rapid learning and delivery
